Each pearl in this necklace is naturally coloured. This means that the champagne, blue, grey, green and bronze shades have not been treated or modified, but are purely shaped by the unique pigmentation of the inside of the Pinctada margaritifera oyster.

They are only one per oyster produced, making them significantly scarcer and more valuable than traditional freshwater pearls. Their colours can range from deep black, grey and bronze to peacock, aubergine, blue, white, pistachio and golden green.
