Aurélie is derived from the Latin aureus, meaning "golden"; the name refers to the golden needles in the stone reminiscent of sunlight breaking through clear crystal water, and carries a sophisticated balance of purity and warmth.

This striking pendant in solid 18 ct yellow gold has been created around a exceptionally crystalline rutile quartz - a stone of rare quality. The transparency of the crystal allows the fine gold rutile needles as if floating in the light, making their texture and shine stand out perfectly.

To maximise the power of the stone, I designed a elegant yet sturdy, almost invisible setting. The open leg setting subtly holds the stone without disturbing the view - pure, airy and fully serving the natural character of the crystal.
